Life in the Day
Journal Entry: Fri May 9, 2008, 1:03 PM
So lately I have been reading Madam Mirage---Waiting for #6, Ultimates--- Waiting for #4, and Ultimate Human, need to get 3 and 4 still since they were sold out at my comic book store.
I bought Ace Combat 6, Oblivion, and Burnout Paradise City for my 360 but I haven't had a chance to sit down and play them much. Creating a comic takes all my time, especially since its not my full time job. There is so much to organize and put together and the work is never finished. But at the same time I love it. I have to be careful to balance work and life though because most important is my family and my church.
I was talking to someone this morning about how there never seems to be free time in the day anymore. No matter what you do life seems so busy. Some people I work with seriously never sleep but how they do that I don't know. Yesterday I woke up at 6:00, checked the market, worked on lettering a few pages in LC, talked with the web designer a bit and then went to work at 8:00. I had a late appointment so I got home around 7:00 ate dinner with the missionaries from church, put my kids to bed, worked on the LC RPG and went to bed. I wanted to watch August Rush which we just got from Netflix but I was exhausted. I woke up today early around 5:00 feeling ill but started the whole thing over again.
Good thing I have deviantart to distract me in the middle of the day.

Devious Comments
Hey. We met at the NYCC two weeks ago. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to read the first issue yet (I had purchased the package deal at the Con) - I've had so much to get done since the convention - however, I really am excited for your publication, and I hope it goes well for you.
Anyway, I've been contacting people from the Con all morning and, finding the L.C. book mark on my desk, remembered you. So, I'm just dropping a line to say hello, and I'll let you know when I read the issue. Again, it was great meeting you and talking to you at the Con. Keep in touch.
